01What do you mean by a bot?
Our bots are AI agents that carry out assigned work across approved tools. They can perform complete computer-based roles, including work that requires reasoning, adaptation, creation, and multi-step execution. Unlike a chatbot, each bot has the context, memory, and tools needed to perform its assigned role. Unlike a DIY platform, Botsource configures and manages it for you.
02Is this really a hire?
Operationally, it follows a familiar hiring model: choose a role, onboard the bot, assign a role manager, provide approved access, and evaluate its work. Contractually, it is a Botsource-managed service, not a legal employee, and Botsource remains responsible for operating the bot.
03Who supports us during the engagement?
Every active hire includes a human Botsource account manager assigned to your company. They coordinate onboarding, questions, concerns, changes, and escalation to our technical team. Your role manager still sets priorities and approves work. Support channels, coverage, and response targets are confirmed in the written scope.
04How does ongoing pricing work?
Ongoing managed AI starts at $5 per hour. The final rate varies by role, workflow, coverage, and scope and is confirmed in writing before payment. Your Botsource account manager remains included.
05Do we own the bot?
No. You hire the bot through Botsource, and Botsource retains ownership of the bot and Botsource-created implementation. Your company’s existing data, accounts, SOPs, and materials remain yours. The written scope defines outputs, retention, access removal, and offboarding.
06Can Botsource support HIPAA-regulated work?
Botsource can support HIPAA-regulated work when the role and deployment can be configured with appropriate safeguards. Before work begins, we evaluate the systems, data flows, access, vendors, controls, and contractual responsibilities involved. Every regulated engagement receives its own security plan and deployment-specific review.
